Donor Privacy Policy
How we protect the information of the people who fund our mission.
Focused Outreach Richmond, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 27-3752391). We are committed to respecting the privacy of every donor.
What we collect
For each gift, we collect the donor's name, mailing address, email, phone number (when supplied), gift amount, and the date of the gift. For credit-card and ACH gifts, the payment data is processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
Donor information is used to acknowledge the gift, issue a tax-receipt, comply with IRS and audit requirements, send program updates (which you may opt out of at any time), and steward the relationship.
How we share it
Focused Outreach Richmond does not sell, trade, rent, or share its donor list with any other organization. We share donor information with vendors only to the extent necessary to process gifts and operate our communications, and we require those vendors to keep the information confidential.
Anonymous gifts
You may give anonymously at any time. If you have already given and would like your gift to be treated as anonymous in our records, email us and we will update your record.
Opting out
You may opt out of mailings, emails, and phone calls from Focused Outreach Richmond at any time by emailing info@focusedoutreachrichmond.org or calling (804) 212-2471.
